Boiler Servicing

Regular servicing is important to keep your boiler running safely & efficiently.

All boiler manufacturers require your boiler is serviced every year to maintain your warranty, with some warranties lasting 12 or even now 18 years! In the long run it will save you money as by maintaining the warranty the manufacturer will pick up the cost of any potential expensive repairs should your boiler breakdown at any point.

A service includes a full safety check of your boiler, gas meter & pipework. As well as this the condition & correct operation of the boiler's components is tested. Every boiler is slightly different with regards to what tests need to be performed so we service each boiler according to the manufacturer's requirements for that specific model.

Boiler Repairs and Breakdowns

Increasingly few gas engineers deal with gas fires nowadays but we do!

Gas fires are one of the most important gas appliances to keep properly maintained; a combination of the fact that in many cases they are rarely used, the fact that the vast majority are 'open flued' (so can spill carbon monoxide (CO) directly into a room) and their use of traditional chimneys that can become blocked means that they are fairly high risk & really should be serviced & safety checked once a year.

Just because a gas fire has worked fine for years it doesn't mean a pigeon hasn't nested in the chimney over summer! So more so than any other appliance it is recommended that you have your gas fire serviced before lighting it for the first time each autumn.

We even deal with old back boilers (boiler behind a fireplace), an increasingly rare sight but some are still going strong!
